Sync State Service

Keep application state consistent across regions and replicas

Sync State Service is a managed synchronisation layer for distributed applications. It keeps configuration, session and cache state consistent between instances, so services behave the same regardless of where a request lands.

The service is offered to existing customers under contract. New workloads are onboarded by arrangement; please get in touch before pointing traffic at the service endpoints.

Overview

Replication
Change-based replication between regions with configurable conflict resolution and ordered delivery per key.
Snapshots
Periodic consistent snapshots for bootstrapping new replicas and for point-in-time recovery.
Observability
Lag, throughput and conflict metrics exported per namespace; alerts on divergence and stalled replication.

How it works

Applications write to their local state store as usual. A lightweight agent captures changes and forwards them to the service, which orders, deduplicates and fans them out to the other replicas in the namespace.

Reads stay local. Consistency guarantees are configured per namespace, from eventual to bounded-staleness, depending on what the workload needs.
